During the summer holidays, steam trains run the line 3 times a week and provide some great opportunities to capture these fabulous engines. I recently found 3 videos on You Tube that were made in 1982 and record the history of the line. Well worth a look!

She was withdrawn from service in 1964 where she was stored at Bristol (Barrow Yard) before being moved to Woodham Brothers Scrapyard Barry. She was rescued in 1972, preserved and re-entered service in 2002. She made a fine sight today even in the slightly gloomy conditions.
