The Lakes Photographer`s Toolkit!

An online resource for the Landscape Photographer visiting the English Lake District.

To have the best chance of being at the right location at the right time to capture the stunning vistas available here in the Lake District, requires careful planning and access to such data as weather, sunrise/sunset times, the azimuth of the sun for a given time, moonrise/set data and tide tables if shooting at a coastal location.

All this information can be viewed on the internet and is free! I use my iphone to provide me with all the data I require for planning and on location shoots. There are a number of great Apps. useful to the photographer on the iTunes Application Store.

Landscape photographers keep a very, very close eye on the weather but mountain weather can change in seconds and is quite unpredictable.
There are a huge number of resources on the net that provide information.
